Animal Behaviour Live 2026
We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our annual flagship online conference for the 7th time this year. Taking place on 12 November 2026, the event will be broadcast online on our YouTube channel for registered participants (save the date in your calendar). Registration to the conference is FREE.
For this year's conference we are going to change the format and have a single day conference themed around 'Studying Animal Behaviour in a Changing World'.
We will be selecting plenaries and abstracts that study (1) how animals are changing their behaviour due to anthropogenic changes, (2) how Animal Behaviour studies are changing their design to reduce their impact on the animals themselves, and (3) what new technologies and techniques (such as AI) are available to help Animal Behaviour research.
As in previous years, the conference will comprise three sessions per day to cover every time zone. During each session, we will have the pleasure of listening to one 45-minute plenary talk and four 15-minute presentations. You will also be able to view 5-mins video posters during the conference at your leisure, as well as during dedicated sessions. We will also organise informal 'Meet the PI' sessions and workshops during the conference. Finally, you will be able to interact with the ABL community via a dedicated Discord server throughout the conference.
